What do you “Need” to Register for?

Whether you're an experienced mom or a first-time expectant one, creating your baby's registry can be daunting. What do you really need? What will you use? And what will just end up taking up space in your house? My list of must-haves will help take the guesswork out of building your registry and ensure that your little one is well-equipped for life in the world!

A Carseat

When you are expecting a baby, one of the most important things you will need to purchase is a car seat. A car seat is essential for keeping your child safe while riding in the car. It is important to choose a car seat that is appropriate for your child's age, weight, and height. You will also need to make sure that the car seat is properly installed in your vehicle. There are many different types of car seats on the market, so it is important to do your research to find the best one for your needs. A good car seat can make all the difference in keeping your child safe on the road.

OUr families favorite brand by far was Britax because of their car clips, they made it easier when we had to transfer the carseats to another vehicle or had to clean the car out.

a crib

A crib is an essential piece of furniture for any parent-to-be. Not only does it provide a safe and comfortable place for your baby to sleep, but it can also help to keep them from rolling off the bed or getting tangled in blankets. In addition, a crib can be a great way to create a designated space for your baby in your home. Having a dedicated area for feedings, naps, and playtime can help to make parenting a little easier. And when your baby outgrows the crib, you can use it as storage for all of their things. So, whether you’re looking for safety, convenience, or just a place to keep all of those tiny clothes, a crib is an essential piece of Baby’s Nursery.

diapers and wipes

When you become a parent, you quickly learn that diapers and wipes are two of the most essential items in your home. Not only do they keep your baby clean and comfortable, but they also help to prevent rashes and other skin irritation. While you can certainly get by without them, having a reliable supply of diapers and wipes on hand will make your life a lot easier.

But where should you start? If you're using cloth diapers, you'll need to stock up on a few dozen diaper covers and several types of inserts. And if you're using disposable diapers, you'll want to have at least two or three boxes on hand at all times. As for wipes, it's always a good idea to have a few packs in the house. That way, you can be sure to always have a clean one on hand when you need it.

No matter what type of diaper you choose, making sure you have a reliable supply of diapers and wipes is essential for any new parent. Trust us - your future self will thank you!

Formula or breast milk

Babies need a lot of nutrition when they're growing, and formula or breastmilk is the best way to give them what they need. Breastmilk is packed with nutrients and antibodies that help protect babies from illness, and it's easy for them to digest. Plus, breastmilk can change its composition as a baby grows, so it always meets their needs. Formula is also packed with nutrients, and it's designed to mimic the composition of breastmilk as closely as possible. Plus, it's easy to use and you can always be sure that your baby is getting the right amount. Either way, you're giving your baby the best possible start in life!

Baby clothes - a lot of them!

There are a few reasons why you might want to invest in some newborn clothes before your baby arrives. For one, they can be a great way to save money in the long run. While it is true that you can usually find clothes for cheaper at a thrift store or consignment shop, you never know what condition they will be in. Newborn clothes, on the other hand, are designed specifically for fragile skin and will often last longer than second-hand options. Additionally, newborns grow very quickly, so it is important to have a rotation of clothing that always fits. By investing in some newborn clothes upfront, you can save yourself the hassle (and expense) of having to constantly buy new clothes as your baby grows. Finally, many parents find that newborn clothes are simply too adorable to resist! Whether you are looking for a special outfit for your baby’s first photo shoot or just want to spoil them with some cute outfits, there are plenty of options to choose from. In the end, whether or not you choose to buy newborn clothes is entirely up to you. However, for many parents-to-be, investing in a few key pieces can be a great way to prepare for their new arrival.

Pacifiers

It's no secret that babies love to suck on things. Whether it's their thumb, a blanket, or your finger, there's just something about sucking that seems to calm and comfort them. For this reason, many parents choose to give their baby a pacifier. Pacifiers can provide a sense of security for infants and help to soothe them when they are upset. They can also be a valuable tool for parents, providing a way to calm a crying baby without having to pick them up. In addition, pacifiers can help to reduce the risk of SIDS by encouraging babies to sleep on their back. So, if you're expecting, don't forget to pack a few pacifiers in your delivery bag.
